More than ever before, cybersecurity professionals want their vendors to deliver open, interoperable solutions. Let's dive a little deeper into the matter and review additional insights to understand why many companies are turning to open solutions built on an Extended Detection and Response (XDR) platform. Industry-wide data shows that:
- There are only enough cybersecurity workers in the United States to fill 68% of the cybersecurity jobs that employers demand1.
- 48% of small/midsized enterprises and 33% of large enterprises say their in-house security staff is overwhelmed by the number of security tools/layers to manage2.
