Hensley, the former Director of the Army's Global Network Operations and Security Center (AGNOSC), has joined the company as Vice President of SecureWorks' Counter Threat Unit™ (CTU).

ATLANTA, Mar. 3, 2010-–The SecureWorks CTU is comprised of a team of top security experts who identify and analyze emerging cyber threats, while developing rapid countermeasures in support of SecureWorks' clients. The CTU leverages visibility across a broad client base and in-depth knowledge of malware and attackers to continuously update SecureWorks' technologies which provide better and faster protection in a highly scalable delivery environment. The CTU also delivers a Threat Intelligence Service that offers early warning and actionable security intelligence tailored to a client's environment.

While at the AGNOSC, COL Hensley was responsible for directing the operations and defense of the Army's portion of the Global Information Grid (GIG) consisting of over 1.2 million users. The AGNOSC integrates key cyber functions spanning operations, intelligence, resource management and strategic planning for the Army while leading the Department of Defense (DoD) in many critical network security initiatives.

COL Hensley started his career in the U.S. Army in 1986 through the Army ROTC program. He has served in a variety of leadership positions within the communications and information career field throughout his 24-year Army career to include Operation Desert SHIELD in Saudi Arabia, Operation Restore Hope in Somalia and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

COL Hensley holds a BBA in Information Systems, M.S. in Telecommunication and is a graduate of the National War College. In 2008, Federal Computer Week named COL Hensley a "Federal 100" winner. Those awarded were part of a select group of top executives working in the Federal IT industry.
