POSITION SUMMARY

Position Summary
A Security Response Analyst on the Security Response Team aids in the management and monitoring of client intrusion detection devices and log management devices within SecureWorks Managed Security Services (MSS) division. Security Response Analysts are briefed on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities to perform deep network and packet analysis to identify client security breaches. Security Response Analysts will act as a security advocate for a number of well established global enterprise clients through ticket analysis, client schedule calls and policy management.
You will be working in an 24x7x365 operations center environment with other security and networking professionals and will be responsible for addressing emails, scheduling IDS signature platform updates, performing security threat analysis of viruses, bots, and Trojans and working with clients to remediate security related issues.
The requirements for a Security Response Analyst position include a bachelor’s degree program in a relevant field or relevant experience in networking or system administration. Ideal candidates have familiarity with supporting production servers or networks and have a passion and interest for technology as well as desire to learn more about security related platforms and malcode analysis.
Previous experience and exposure to multiple intrusion detection platforms, host log monitoring and application security products are key to success in this position. The work is fast paced and challenging and you will learn a vast amount of network security and practical understanding in a short amount of time.

Position Summary

The Network Engineer position will be responsible for all aspects of firewalling, routing, WAN/LAN architecture, network services, and general network perimeter security for all SecureWorks corporate facilities and major Data Center operations. Incumbent will be responsible for solving real world routing and firewalling challenges in a secure manner. Incumbent must be comfortable interfacing with internal customers and collaborating with diverse departments with differing needs.
Preferred Technical Experience:
This position will require a working knowledge of routers, firewalls, hubs, switches, network interfaces and all other types of network gear. Additionally, a good working knowledge of BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP, RIP (all versions), IPSEC, GRE VPN technologies, VLAN trunking and VoIP are preferred. Position will also require basic knowledge of telecom and ISP signaling and routing standards, including T1, T3, MPLS, and Metro Ethernet technologies.

- Cisco product experience desired with: ASA Firewalls, Routers, Catalyst switches.
- Experience with Load Balancing technologies a plus.
