Position Summary

A Security Response Engineering Specialist on the Security Response Team aids in the management and monitoring of client intrusion detection devices, web application firewalls and log management devices in a 24x7 operations environment.  Security Response Engineering Specialists are responsible for maintaining expertise in the latest security threats and vulnerabilities to perform deep network and packet analysis to identify client security breaches. Security Response Engineering Specialists will act as a senior escalation point to analyst team for a number of well established global enterprise clients in the realm of device troubleshooting, configuration adjustments and advanced threat scenarios.

Positions are to mirror SOC Specialist and Analyst shift schedules and Engineering Specialist shifts may include working one weekend day per week or during off hours. Ability to maintain flexible schedule based on client demand and field support requirements is key to this position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strong interdepartmental communication and client care skills are a requirement for this position
  • Act as escalation point for intrusion detection device platform troubleshooting and configuration issues.
  • Act as escalation point for client security breaches, client malware trends and vulnerability identification
  • Stay informed of current events in the security industry including the latest exploits and threats, as well as preventative measures, remediation and restoral techniques.
  • Work with SOC Shift Leads to develop training material related to the latest security threats, vendor supported platforms and proprietary systems to improve operational delivery.
  • Mentor Specialist and Analyst team members to improve quality and consistency of security information analysis, device troubleshooting and device management best practices.
  • Ensure that we are implementing best practice security policies that address the client's business need while protecting their vital corporate assets by monitoring client base event load and work with Platform Engineering or CTU to aid in the maintenance of back end systems
  • Facilitate signature deployment on supported platforms
  • Ability to work in fast paced, multi-tasking operations environment

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Experience with a variety of operating system experience, Windows/Linux/Unix in an Intermediate to Advanced capacity. 
  • CISSP, CCSA, CCNA, GCIA, GCIH or CEH Certification Preferred
  • Basic malware reverse engineering skills to perform behavioral analysis  
  • Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of two or more of the following: Snort, Sourcefire, Cisco IDS, MacAfee, TippingPoint, ISS.
  • Networking experience and understanding in the following:
    • Basic routing principles and networking fundamentals
    • Well known protocols and services (FTP,HTTP,SSH,SMB,LDAP)
    • Command line interfaces
    • Packet Analysis Tools (TCPDUMP, Wireshark, Ngrep)
  • Keen ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, excellent problem solving skills
  • Well spoken and articulate, with excellent writing abilities.  Must be able to communicate technical details a clear, understandable manner

Education and Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years hands on Systems Administration or Network Security experience

Position Summary
Responsibilities of this position include the administration and monitoring of the current installed EMC Storage Arrays, VMware ESX and Central Backup Infrastructure.   • Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and management of VMware Infrastructure ESX 3.5 and 4 based systems.
  • Lead or assist in the design, implementation, troubleshooting and operation of the enterprise-wide storage and backup infrastructure.
  • Configuration and management of VMware VirtualCenter, VMware HA, VCB, Automated Provisioning, and VMware clustering.

POSITION SUMMARY
The SecureWorks Sales Support Specialist role is an entry-level role within the SecureWorks Sales Team. The position is part-time, averaging 16-24 hours a week.  Sales Support Specialist responsibilities include collecting, preparing and assisting with the importing of prospect data into our CRM system. POSITION SUMMARY
The Inside Sales role has responsibility for conducting outbound market contact activities positioning Managed Security and Professional Consulting services to small and large enterprises.  The Inside Sales Representative provides front end sales activities including initiating prospect relationships, creating further interest and driving value driven conversations with SecureWorks Direct Sales team.

Position Summary
The Director of Channel Sales will drive the relationship between Enterprise Security Services and our key partners in the Latin and South America Region both tactically and strategically to develop our relationship with a view to maximise revenue from those partners.

Position Summary

You will be working in an 24x7x365 operations center environment with other security and networking professionals and will be responsible for addressing emails, scheduling IDS signature platform updates, performing security threat analysis of viruses, bots, and Trojans and working with clients to remediate security related issues.

The requirements for a Security Response Specialist position include a bachelor’s degree program in a relevant field or relevant experience in networking or system administration.   Ideal candidates have familiarity with supporting production servers or networks and have a passion and interest for technology as well as desire to learn more about security related platforms and malcode analysis.

Within 6-12 months period, you will be exposed to and become competent with at least three intrusion detection platforms and a multitude of attack toolkits and software vulnerabilities.  The work is fast paced and challenging and you will learn a vast amount of network security and practical understanding in a short amount of time.

Positions are on a shift schedule of 1st (8am-4:30pm), 2nd (4pm-12:30am) and 3rd shift (12am-8:30am) and shifts include working one weekend day a week.  (Sunday-Thursday) or (Tuesday-Saturday)

Position Summary

Position Summary
Director of Security Analysis is responsible for a team of Managers and Security Analysts delivering managed security services to SecureWorks Client base from four Security Operations Centers (SOC) on a 24/7 basis. Preferred Technical Experience:

  • 5 to 7 years direct experience required in the management and administration of network infrastructure - routers, switches, load balancers, SSL, etc. - in a high-availability infrastructure on a 24x7x365 basis
