They will review how the scheme was uncovered as well as how the actor was thwarted. User traffic destined to 51 networks from 19 different Internet service providers was hijacked. Dr. Brett Stone-Gross, Senior Security Researcher, will present a malware family that is using digital steganography to hide information in image files. He will discuss the use of digital steganography and how it can make detection significantly more difficult.
