SecureWorks’ team of experts will be attending this year’s Gartner Security and Risk Management Summit in National Harbor, MD. The event will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center from June 12-15.
SecureWorks representatives will be involved in two sessions during the conference.
SecureWorks Chief Threat Intelligence Officer Barry Hensley and SecureWorks Executive Director of Cyber Threat Analysis Terry McGraw are hosting a session entitled Adaptive Security Architecture: Best Practices to Help You Improve Your Overall Architecture and Security Methodologies. During the session, they will share our experiences, best practices and lessons learned over the past year to help you improve your overall architecture and security methodologies. This session will be held June 12 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in room Maryland A.
In addition, SecureWorks’ Justin Turner will host a session June 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 6:55 p.m. in Showcase Theater C on the show floor. His session, entitled Tilling the Land: How Adversaries Shape Your Environment to Suit Their Goals, will examine the techniques SecureWorks has seen adversaries use to reconfigure OS features and applications to expose new capabilities they can abuse. In addition, he will discuss artifacts security professionals can look for to detect these types of abuses.
