Log Retention

SecureWorks Log Retention, the aggregation and storing of network device logs for archival purposes, has become a requirement for many regulated industries. Unfortunately, enterprises deploying Log Retention have been challenged to find solutions that support a wide range of diverse log types and provide flexible indexing and searching of log data.

Service Overview

The SecureWorks Log Retention service provides aggregation and archiving of all relevant logs, as required by regulations such as PCI. The service provides support for a wide range of devices, allowing capture and aggregation of logs for critical information assets including servers, routers, firewalls and databases. Logs will be collected in their entirety, indexed for search and reporting capabilities, and archived for a time period determined by the client. Access to raw logs is also supported.

SecureWorks Log Retention service is co-managed between the client and SecureWorks. The client will have Log Retention devices deployed in their network and data archiving will take place natively on the LogLogic appliance or at the client’s NAS or SAN.

The Log Retention Service offers powerful searching and reporting functionality, handling even very large volumes of data comfortably. All the information is integrated and managed in SecureWorks flexible and powerful Client Portal, which also provides blended reporting and workflow capabilities.
