Every iSensor runs four software components: an internal firewall, a health-and-wellness monitoring system, a proprietary intrusion prevention system, and a remote configuration and management system. Through remote configuration, analysts push new attack signatures to the iSensor automatically, apply software updates with no effort required by the client, and monitor the health and wellness of the network.
