TeraGuard™
TeraGuard™ is SecureWorks’ large enterprise service delivery platform, which we also leverage for our MSP partner program. Originally used by VeriSign’s Managed Security Services business (which was acquired by SecureWorks), TeraGuard™ features proven multi-tenant security monitoring and management technology that supports flexible and scalable service delivery in the largest of environments.
In addition to powerful security event management capabilities, TeraGuard™ also features flexible operational support systems used by our expert SOC staff to deliver best-of-breed device management and monitoring to our clients. TeraGuard™ automates mature SOC processes and management functions, ensuring consistent service delivery and ongoing operational efficiency. Supporting tight integration with 3rd party technologies, TeraGuard™ allows for services to be uniquely tailored to each client’s operational processes and IT environment to maximize workflow efficiency and minimize overhead.
Security Defense Appliance (SDA)
A core element of TeraGuard™ is the SDA, a secure, fault-tolerant communication and management device enabling SecureWorks to deploy innovative security technologies on a client’s network. Deployed behind the firewall, the SDA connects to TeraGuard™ via a secure tunnel. In the event of a communications failure, the SDA provides out-of-band access and utilizes store-and-forward technology to ensure service availability.
